Is it too harsh for sensitive skin?

No. Lactic acid is the gentlest AHA there is, and at 4% this is a daily-use strength, not a peel. It exfoliates as you wash and rinses clean - no scrubbing, no gritty particles. If your skin is very reactive, start every other day for the first week.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Email us within 30 days and we refund you in full. You keep all three bottles - we don't ask for hygiene items back.

When will I see results?

Skin feels smoother after the first few washes. The visible change - fewer bumps, less rough texture, a more even tone - typically shows after 2 to 4 weeks of daily use.

Can I use it every day?

Yes - it is formulated for daily use. Massage on damp skin, leave it on for 60 seconds while you shower, rinse. Follow with the AHA Body Lotion to lock the smoothness in.

What's included?

Daily Exfoliating Body Wash, plus a free AHA Body Lotion and a free Brightening Body Wash - the complete smooth-skin routine.

What people say

★★★★★

“Does this actually work?”

Someone asked if this actually works, so instead of answering she filmed her legs - the dark dots that used to cover them are gone. That was the whole reply.

The marks the bumps leave behind

The salicylic acid deeply penetrates the pores to clean them out, and the lactic acid helps with the dark spots that are left over after the bumps have gone. I bought all of these separately - don't be like me, they come as a bundle.

“It makes your skin look so even”

It smells so good, y'all. The little bumps on my neck? Gone. I really got up in them legs with the exfoliating wash, then applied the lotion on top.

Three products, one job each

This one reduces the dark spots. This one reduces the bumps. This one sheds the dead skin. Three products for that price is crazy.

Keratosis pilaris is genetic - it is managed, not cured. That is true of every product in this table; the difference is what the routine costs you.

Honestly

What to expect.

Mend Daily Exfoliating Body Wash with AHA Body Lotion and Brightening Body Wash
First washes

Softer, not transformed.

Skin feels smoother after the first few showers - that part is quick. The bumps themselves are keratin plugs sitting inside the follicle, and dissolving them takes longer than one wash. Nothing here works overnight, and anything that claims to is scrubbing your surface raw.

Week 2–4

The bumps start thinning out.

Lactic and salicylic acid keep dissolving the plugs a little faster than your skin rebuilds them. Consistency is what wins here, not intensity - a gentle 60 seconds daily beats a hard scrub twice a week.

Week 4–6+

Tone catches up last.

Most people see the clearest change after 4-6 weeks of consistent use. The dark marks old bumps left behind fade slower than the texture - they stop being replaced first, then soften. If you stop the routine, KP slowly returns; that is its nature, not the product failing.

You asked.

What exactly is “strawberry skin”?

The dots are keratin - the protein your skin is made of - building up and plugging hair follicles, usually with a little dead skin. Dermatologists call it keratosis pilaris. It runs in families, it is more common on dry skin, and it is completely harmless - just stubborn.

Why didn't scrubbing ever fix it?

Because the plug sits down inside the follicle, where a loofah can't reach. Scrubbing scrapes the surface around it and irritates the skin - which can make the bumps look redder and the marks darker. Acids dissolve the plug instead of scraping at it.

Will it help dark inner thighs and uneven tone?

That is the Brightening Wash's job - vitamin C and niacinamide target the appearance of darkened, uneven areas while the AHAs lift away the dull surface layer. Tone changes are the slowest of all: give it 8-12 weeks of consistent use before judging.

Does it work on body acne and butt bumps?

Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it gets into the pore itself and clears out what's built up - which is why it is the standard ingredient for body breakouts. Use the Exfoliating Wash on those areas daily and give the marks time to fade.

Do I need sunscreen with this?

The washes rinse off, so their sun effect is small. The AHA Body Lotion stays on though, and AHAs can make skin more sun-sensitive - so use SPF on exposed areas like arms and shins while you use it, and for a week after. Skin that's exfoliating is skin worth protecting anyway.

Will the bumps come back if I stop?

Slowly, yes. KP is genetic - your follicles will keep producing extra keratin whether or not you dissolve it. This routine manages it in about a minute a day; nothing on the market removes the tendency itself, and we would rather tell you that now.
